Join WE Bike NYC and the APA-New York Metro Chapter Transportation Committee for a fun ride at Bicycle Sundays in Westchester on September 21!
Bicycle Sundays is a longstanding tradition in Westchester County where a 6.5-mile stretch of the historic Bronx River Parkway is closed to cars and opened to cyclists and pedestrians! The tour will focus on the history of the parkway and park system, as well as the transportation infrastructure. The tour will be led by Barbara Davis, Co-Director of the Westchester County Historical Society and David Delucia, who recently retired as the Director of Park Facilities for the County of Westchester. After completing the loop of the Bronx River Parkway we’ll stop for lunch in Crestwood.
When: Sunday, September 21 9am-2pm
Where: The ride will begin at 10:30am from Crestwood Station.
