Westchester County Mobility and Bus Re-Design Study
Notice is hereby given that Westchester County, acting by and through the office of the Commissioner of Public Works and Transportation (WCDPW&T), is seeking proposals from qualified firms to undertake a County Mobility and Bus Redesign Study.
Given the nationwide trends of declining bus ridership, technological advances, and a greater range of available mobility options, Westchester County is embarking upon an overall assessment of its current transit system and a bus network redesign to better meet the emerging mobility needs of the region. The approach of this study is to utilize a ‘blank slate’ strategy to redesign transit service from the ground up by objectively reviewing existing transit conditions and determining market needs.
The RFP document may be obtained by contacting Ilana Wagner, Associate Planner, Westchester County Department of Public Works and Transportation, (914) 813-7805, or by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. The RFP document is also available online at www.westchestergov.com/rfp.
The deadline for submission of proposals is 4:00 p.m. on July 10, 2019.
