Kelly is the Co-Chair of the Technology Committee and initiated the effort to create the Work Plan, the operational path for the group. In this member spotlight we share Kelly’s thoughts on what inspires her most about technology and urban planning.
What inspires you most about technology and planning?
I am inspired by the possibilities that technology brings to planning in collecting and analyzing new and different types of data. Pieces of information that were previously inaccessible or data that was too complex to collect or easily interpret for anyone not specifically trained to do so. That said, I try to remain mindful of the importance of the qualitative aspects of planning that brought me to the profession.
