Walking tour of Downtown Baldwin

The APA NYM Long Island Section is hosting a walking tour of downtown Baldwin. The hamlet of Baldwin has been the focus of various revitalization efforts by the Town, County, and State, including the $10 million Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI), NY Rising Construction Program, and the Baldwin Complete Streets Project. These investments have now resulted in Baldwin emerging as a new center for transit oriented development on Long Island. Join us for a comprehensive tour of downtown, with stops at:
- Baldwin LIRR Train Station
- Baldwin Public Library
- Grand Avenue -- Complete Streets Corridor
- Baldwin Commons -- 33-Unit Affordable Housing
- Silver Lake Park -- Resiliency Improvements
- Historic George Sumner Kellogg House

CM credits are being requested. Following the tour, we will gather at TulumTacos and Tequila on Merrick Road around 5PM.

To register: There is no fee to attend this event, however, registration is required, as we are limited to the first 25 people. To RSVP, please email Sarah Sklar, section secretary, at Sarah.Sklar@gza.com
