From Train to Plane: Planning for Airport-wide Performance & Experience

  • Arup 140 Broadway New York, NY, 10005 United States (map)

Join the APA-New York Metro Chapter Transportation Committee and airport planners at Arup for an informative session on airport planning, From Train to Plane: Planning for Airport-wide Performance & Experience, on September 16.

We will give a 101 of the entire airport planning process – from airside and runway, to terminal and landside capacity. Arup's airport planners will speak about the principles of planning for both capacity and how this affects travelers’ perceptions of airport experience – such as “tarmac delays”, TSA queues, and curbside congestion.

Presenters:

  • Aarshabh Misra, Associate Principal, Arup

  • Kristy Tu, PE, Senior Planner, Arup

When: Tuesday, September 16, 5:30pm-7:30pm

Where: The event will be held in-person at Arup’s office at 140 Broadway (40th Floor).
