Tour Highlights:
Led by Michael Kavalar, AICP (Senior Team Leader, NYC Department of City Planning) and Kimberly McNabb (Deputy Director of Planning & Development, Office of the Bronx Borough President), this walking tour will explore the Parkchester/Van Nest and Morris Park Metro-North station areas. We’ll take a closer look at how transit-oriented development (TOD) is shaping New York City, focusing on how transportation infrastructure, residential growth, and economic development intersect to revitalize communities. The tour will also highlight parts of the Special Eastchester-East Tremont Corridor District.

Please note: Participants should be prepared to walk approximately 1.5 miles between the two stations.

After the tour, you're invited to join us for informal coffee/snacks to connect and continue the conversation (food and drink not covered by APA-NYM).
