We're excited to announce that the APA New York Metro Chapter Annual Conference will take place on Thursday, October 15, 2026!

This year's theme, The Affordability Mandate: Planning for a Region People Can Thrive In, will explore how planners can help shape a more affordable, equitable, and resilient future for our region.

The Call for Proposals is now open! We invite planners, researchers, students, and allied professionals to share innovative ideas, projects, and best practices through presentations and panel discussions.

Presentations that are eligible for Certification Maintenance Credits will be prioritized. More information available here: https://www.planning.org/cm/ 

This year's submission period also aligns with the 2027 APA National Planning Conference Call for Proposals. If you're developing a session for one conference, consider submitting it to the other as well.

Proposals are due by 5:00 PM on August 26, 2026.
