To kick off 2026, the APA NYM Tech and Waterfront Committees are getting together for a tour of the Cornell Tech campus and networking afterwards at the Cornell University Gensler Family AAP (Architecture Art Planning) NYC Center. This event is open to committee members and friends. We hope you can join us!
Originally conceived after the 2008 downturn as a way for New York City to help position its future within evolving global economic trends by creating an applied science campus, today Cornell Tech is a vibrant home of academics and entrepreneurship including the University’s Urban Tech Hub. This is an opportunity not only to visit its renowned public open spaces and buildings but also to learn about the larger urban context of the campus, its innovative planning and design, and what is currently on the horizon for Cornell’s next phase of development.
