COLLEGE OF fELLOWS OF THE aMERICAN INSTITUTE OF cERTIFIED pLANNERS (faicp)
Induction to the AICP College of Fellows is the highest honor the American Institute of Certified Planners bestows upon a member.
After at least 10 years of career advancement, fellows of AICP are nominated and selected by their peers to recognize and honor their outstanding contributions as a professional planner. Candidates may be nominated in the following ways:
- By the Chapter president
- By the Division chair
- By 10 individual AICP members
An applicants must evidence leadership, exemplary service, and a distinctive impact in the profession.

Each year, APA – NYM established a nominating committee which recommends candidates for the Chapter to support. If nominated by APA – NYM, the Chapter will support the candidate through the rigors of the application process.
