Your participation as a Chapter officer is a great way to develop leadership skills. You will be able to help develop Chapter programs and policies. The committee would like to make this year’s election as competitive as possible.

- Vice President for Professional Development
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- Lower Hudson Valley East Representative
- Lower Hudson Valley West Representative
- New York Area Representative
- Long Island Area Representative
Metro Chapter members who would like to run for any leadership position should express their interest by sending their name, phone number, and email address to the Metro Chapter office: office@nyplanning.org. The office will forward all recommendations to the Nominating Committee for their consideration. Position statements will appear in a special issue of Metro Planner in May and electronic voting ballots will be sent to Chapter members via email.
Do You Have An Idea For a Webcast?
APA-NY Metro Chapter is a member of the Planning Webcast Series, a co-op comprised of APA Chapters and Divisions that provides cost-free webcasts to a national audience. The Series is currently soliciting topics for the 2012 calendar year.
