Sam Schwartz Engineering PLLC is a multi-disciplinary transportation planning and traffic engineering firm with offices in New York City and Newark, NJ. Founded in 1995 by Sam Schwartz, P.E., the firm's 60 professional staff members are problem solvers working from a variety of disciplines to improve the built and natural environments. The firm's recent projects include: the Traffic and Pedestrian Circulation Assessment for the World Trade Center Site, the Metropolitan Museum of Art Traffic Study, Access Improvements to Shea Stadium, Maintenance and Protection of Traffic (MPT) and Interagency Coordination for the AirTrain to JFK, and Community Outreach for the Williamsburg Bridge Rehabilitation. We also worked for the Metropolitan Waterfront Alliance in 2002 to produce the "Revealing the Edges" exhibits at the Urban Center.
