Saccardi & Schiff's staff of planners, architects, and landscape architects is experienced in the areas of comprehensive land use planning, zoning, traffic and circulation studies, economics, land planning and development plans, real estate market analysis, environmental reviews and housing programs for communities of various sizes and scales and for private developers. Services may focus on an entire community, a neighborhood, a special area or a particular site. They are designed to provide the basis for the community or developer to make the decisions necessary to effectively guide development and growth and to provide evaluations of the impact that a plan or a project may have on the environment, as required under the National Environmental Protection Act, the New York State Environmental Quality Review Act, and other local and state laws and policies.
Examples of recent and current assignments include: Comprehensive Plans for the Cities of White Plains and New Rochelle and for Rockland and Orange Counties; revitalization plans for 35+ business districts as part of Nassau County's Operation Downtown; a brownfields redevelopment plan for the Yonkers waterfront, and, a 197 - a plan for Bronx Community Board #8. Private clients include: LCOR, Cappelli Enterprises, the Trump Organization, Avalon Bay Communities, Halpern Enterprises, Spectrum Skanska, iPark, Doral Arrowwood Conference Center and Ginsburg Development.
